Then and Now
Festival, Rock, Indie, Pop, Soul
You may have followed my series “Field Good” throughout the summer where I championed the best up and coming artists on the 2019 festival circuit.
Now it’s freezing outside and I’m not bound to line-ups, I’m free to play whatever I want.
As well as the usual new music discoveries, you can expect to hear everything from 60s Soul, Surf Rock and French Pop; 70s New Wave, Post-punk, Ska and Disco; 80s Synth, 90s Shoegaze, Soft Rock and Britpop, right through to 2000s Indie Rock. As the title would suggest – Music from THEN and music from NOW. I’ll also be having friends in each month to talk about the industry from their perspective, be it A&R, journalism, djing, recording, photography, booking and promotion, artwork illustration or roadying.
More than anything though, this show is an excuse to play some of my records outside my bedroom for once, which is really quite exciting.
