Tom Burgess is a Southend-on-Sea based musician, promoter, record collector, DJ, ale snob and according to some at TWR, a funking hippie.

Co-founder of Southend’s Ship Full of Bombs station and curator of The Railway Hotel’s infamous Shangri-La nights. Expect to hear indie rock, shoegaze, country, americana, trad folk, new folk, garage rock and maybe even some minimalist jazz. Tom’s musical taste is much like his own world of music, a bit of mess. Poorly planned but somehow well executed (probably). He has never seen Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid (1973) [yet].
