From her teenage days in early 80s Essex, Lindsay, AKA The Mrs, knew she loved music! The soulful side appealed to her and she would tune her transistor radio in to Robbie Vincent on Radio London. Soon she developed what would become a passion for Soul, Funk and Jazz, and started buying vinyl and dancing at Dukes, Zero 6 and TOTS.

Relocating to London in the late 80s and going clubbing moved her to another dimension; Friday nights at Gossips, Saturday at The Electric Ballroom, Ormonds or maybe The Soho Arts Club, and always Dingwalls on a Sunday for Talking Loud hosted by Gilles and Patrick.

When Lindsay started dating a DJ 21 years ago, her alter ego was born. The Mrs graduated from the dance floor to the decks and began playing in London.

Now based in Margate she has been playing her own eclectic mix of Funk, Soul & Jazz, and everything in between, at amazing venues such as Olby’s and The Sundeck. She also plays locally and across Kent, honoured to be one of the regular DJ’s at the Margate Soul Festival.
