Illicit Grooves was conceived in the early nineties as an event with Bob Hill and guest DJs playing grooves for the global left field. Born from a hybridisation of the Jazz dance, Acid House and Rare Groove scenes the music policy has always been about playing across the tracks with the groove rather than the genre dictating the tune selections.
