HB’s House is a reflection of music that I love with a passion and play every month at my residency at The Groucho Club, London. My DJ sets are always long; a minimum of four hours and have been known to play nine hours (The Big Feastival) straight, weaving different genres throughout the night and always closing the last few hours with some deep, tech house music.

A born and bred Londoner;  club head, club runner (Jus’ House – London Bridge, Cockroach City in Soho, the backroom of Ministry of Sound) club DJ and radio DJ to boot.

Radio career started on pirate radio stations – LWR and also Climax – whilst holding down a day job in film production specifically sound dubbing in Soho. Audio, sound and music was always around me.

Specialist shows for BBC6 Music, launched Ministry of Sound radio on Kiss. An Evian sponsored radio show (The French Touch) syndicated nationally, which showcased French dance music from the early releases of Cassius, Thomas Bangalter, Bob Sinclar and St Germain which dominated the mid 90s.

Collaboration with DJ Shadow on a radio documentary called The Party Pack, a BBC radio show that packed a punch about the effects of combining illegal drugs.

The Breakfast Club on Radio One was my Sunday breakfast show with a twist! Targeted at bleary eyed clubbers, shift workers, insomniacs and farmers too. The Breakfast Club was a Friday night on Sunday morning.

Record label Manager at Freetown Inc. in the mid 90s with a roster of the cream of dance music from New York and Chicago – Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Jocelyn Brown, Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Masters at Work, Fonda Rae, Arnold Jarvis, Mood II Swing, Charles Webster.

Blues & Soul journalist with her own column “Sarah’s House” from 1991-95, which covered clubland in London and New York as well as new emerging acts and record releases. This column was a diary of life in music land pre-Carrie Bradshaw/Sex and the City.

DJ’d all over the world including Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, USA, Ibiza.

Resident DJ (last Friday of every month) at The Groucho Club in London, DJ’s private events, launches and private parties.
