Jo Wallace is back with a brand new show and a brand new sound – ‘Run For Cover’ – all the tunes you love and cherish sung by other people. Expect the unexpected… nothing is sacred.
Jo first got into music watching top Mod television show Ready Steady Go in 1964 and found herself lured into the beguiling world of black music. Inheriting a box full of Motown in 1967, she began collecting vinyl in earnest and in 1973, she landed her dream job working in a record shop. Jo began selling import soul & funk 45’s and her illustrious DJ career started at the same time in a pub in Chatham… and it’s been downhill ever since!
Jo continues to DJ and run 5 record labels – Ramrock, Ramrock Blue, Ramrock Red and Ramrock Retro plus house label F*CLR. She’s also part of the ‘North Street’ remixing & production crew with Ashley Beedle and Darren Morris.
