An avid record collector and ‘crate digger’ since 1972, London’s Adrian Jae made his club DJ debut in 1983 as regular support to Chris Bangs at The Rio in Didcot. He was the first Saturday night Resident at ‘The Fridge’ in Brixton from ’85-‘87. Adrian was one of the the first DJs to play the famous ‘Limelight’ Club in Soho 1987 and can also boast of playing at the legendary Wharehouse Saturday nights at The Electric Ballroom in Camden Town.
Adrian’s versatility behind the turntables and encyclopaedic knowledge of different musical genres has also given him the opportunity to play alongside acts as diverse as The Pogues, Curiosity Killed The Cat, The Pasadenas and Trouble Funk. A regular Modcast DJ who’s radio shows feature a wide spectrum of music including 50’s RnB, Modern Soul, Northern Soul, Beat Ballads, Jazz,Funk, Latin and the occasional slice of Hip Hop.
