With over three decades of experience in the music industry that includes DJ’ing at clubs, warehouses and festivals, expertise gained from time working in a dance specialist record store, a career at seminal independent record label Wall of Sound, and establishing boutique Club DJ & Radio DJ promotions company Special Requests, Alvin C draws on his passion for ‘alternative’ club culture with the curation of ‘Alvorhythms’, a monthly dig through the left leaning side of music across all genres. Inspired in formative years by listening to pirate radio and then later in clubs by the records played by Andrew Weatherall and Alfredo, ‘Alvorhythms’ has an open door music policy. If it sounds good and feels right, it’s in.
