Oliver & Jo, collectively known as The Sound of Young Jamaica, have been putting on nights in and around Southend and London for the last 20 years including Junk, Rockit, Good as Gold and Get Right Back. Championing what they call ‘Estuary Riddims’, The Sound of Young Jamaica have a bi-monthly night in Westcliff-on-Sea, bringing together the fabled pool of reggae and soundsystem DJs of Essex.

With a heavy focus on 80s Jamaican sounds, TSOYJ are known for their lively dancehall, digital and bass heavy sets. Expect rough and tough sounds from the dance in their monthly show, along with some choice cuts from the 60s to the 90s.
